Liceulice - charity project

I live in Belgrade, Serbia for almost two years now. It is a new country for me, so I’m trying to find out more about it’s people and culture, trying to be included in a local social life. Sometime ago I bought a newspaper called Liceulice from a guy in a blue jacket on a street. I’ve heard that it is a social project which is helping people who struggle to find a job or to be included into society.

About me

My name is Dmitry Nesterov (keyd@). It’s nice to have you here! With over two decades in IT, I decided (on May, 2024) to start this small blog with my own notes and thoughts that I’ve collected so far. Maybe, it will be useful for you somehow. Also, it serves me as a platform to train my English, Spanish and Serbian writing skills.

My professional journey began as a linux system administrator, a role now known as Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). Over the years, I embraced different opportunities, evolving into positions like team lead, project manager, and product owner.

I was born in Russia, lived in Spain, moved in 2023 to Serbia. Now I’m working in Yandex big-tech company, Serbian hub.

I’m speaking English, Spanish and Russian. Also, learning Serbian (hajde, idemo na kafu u Beogradu!).

Image, that I like, how ChatGPT visualize my current professional area - Capacity Planning :-)
